"Very small rooms and AC wouldn’t function. We did open our windows but there was no cross breeze. Size of shower was laughable. I wouldn’t recommend for an extended stay. The hotel is in a great location and very friendly staff. Great drinks bar bar and food breakfast. "

The room was comfortable and well maintained, and the location in Cannaregio is perfect: quiet, yet very convenient to reach the main areas. Overall, a smooth and high-quality experience. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again."

"There are 2 sections of the hotel. One has ancient, uneven, steep steps and no elevator. They carry your bag to your room. You think you are having a hard time with the stairs because you've been traveling for 15 hours. But the steps are treacherous. The staff, especially the dining and room staff, are friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff is smug, knowledgeable, grudgingly helpful, but they don't always pass requests on to the room staff. If the hotel were even 15% less expensive I wouldn't have been thinking that I'd made the wrong choice."
