The host and his family were wonderful. We arrived at 6am and he was able to get us into our room. The homemade breakfast the next morning was wondefful! He gave us excellent directions, recommendations, and was able to translate for the taxi driver. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The location is excellent, close to tourist sites and within walking distance. The people who work there are very friendly, and the breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed at.

⸻ Great Hotel and Excellent Service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The staff were all very kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Even though I don’t remember their names, I truly appreciated their hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The location was also very convenient, close to everything I wanted to visit. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of choices. Overall, a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others!

Perfect to discover Istanbul

I could not have hoped for a better hotel for my first time in Istanbul: great location close to many sites, impeccable service and great advice from Mehmed. Great breakfast also, perfect to set off exploring the city. Highly recommend.

My brother and I had an amazing stay here. The property was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a really nice breakfast that was provided each morning, which included freshly cooked eggs that they started making when you arrived. Was really impressed by the breakfast as it was much better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. This property was also in walking distance of all the activities we had in Istanbul which was really convenient. The best part was the staff. Everybody was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. All the staff members talked with us and asked us how our day was, and answered all our questions. The main front desk man even helped us book a taxi to the airport for the last day which was really helpful. All of them are great people and they will go above and beyond to help you in any way possible. Definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Istanbul. We will be back here next time we visit.

It is a very small hotel that is well maintained. The location is just perfect in the Sultanahmed area. Mehmet has a strong dedication to his hotel and is very helpful with all kind of recommendations. The rooms have a nice size, beds are confortable. The breakfast is delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sultan Mehmed hotel. The moment I checked in, Mehmet was there to give me amazing feedback and information about my stay and sites to visit. Throughout the whole time there, Mehmet and the staff went out their way to make my time accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located in the Sultanahmet district, where many of Istanbul’s major attractions are. I highly recommend booking a stay at this hotel. The great hospitality and experience will want me to come back in the future.

I loved my stay at Sultan Mehmed. I had a small but comfortable room with a great shower. Breakfast was a feast of cold cuts, cheese, fruits, breads and eggs cooked to your preference and served by 2 delightful girls who couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll from both the Blue Mosque and Agia Sophia, the tram stop and various reasonable eateries. Mehmed, the owner, is a mine of useful and interesting information and it was a pleasure to be in his company. I would return to this comfortable and welcoming hotel in a heartbeat.

Très bien situé, transports à 10 mn à pied tram T1, Aya Sofia et la mosquée Sultanahmet à 8 et 5 mn à pied. Restaurants tout autour de l’hôtel. L’ensemble du personnel est disponible, sympathique et à l’écoute de toutes vos demandes.

Hôtel à 3mn de la place Sultanahmet, c'est un petit hôtel très accueillant, le petit déjeuner complet, le personnel toujours souriant et souciant du confort de leurs clients, tout le personnel est amical et que je remercie beaucoup y compris les 2 dames du petit déjeuner. J'ai eu la chambre 103, la chambre était grande et propre juste le matelas manque un peu de confort mais ça n'empêche pas de bien dormir.. merci à toute l'équipe pour ce beau séjour. C'est un hôtel qui mérite 5 étoiles malgré sa simplicité mais grâce à son équipe. Je reviendrai avec plaisir à cet hôtel. Toute mon amitié à l'équipe y compris les dames du petit déjeuner. Zohra.
