"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. "This time, our family of four (a couple with two young children) stayed on a room-only plan (no breakfast or dinner). Our room had an open-air hot-spring bath with free-flowing water straight from the source, so we could relax and enjoy a soak without leaving the room. In addition to the private open-air bath, the hotel also has a large communal bath, which we enjoyed as well. For dinner and breakfast, we indulged in seafood at local restaurants. The sunset was beautiful, too."
