“It was an end of the summer trip for the two of us a last-minute getaway. We normally camp in our tent, but with the weather being so unpredictable, we decided to rent a cabin this time, and it gave us the benefit of both worlds a little bit of rustic and a little bit of home away from home. Even with the hiccup upon check-in, the owners of the property were always there when we have questions and to answer any thing we needed they were very easy to get a hold of very pleasant Aunt very……

“A pleasant surprise... Nice clean, quiet room - huge room by today's standards, 1 story - no stairs... Park right in front of your room... 1 truck stop across the street with a Popeye's, Sbarro & Roy Rogers... Convenience store is fairly limited but the PILOT truck stop across the highway has a much better selection of food stuffs, dessert items, drinks, etc. ”

“This cabin was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We came to this area to see Flint Ridge Quarry and the Newark Mounds. We also went down to the lake one day. There seemed to be a lot more we could have done in the area if we had stayed longer. The hot tub was clean and very warm. The host replied to my questions right away. Overall it was a very nice stay!”

“We enjoyed the space! If there was one thing that could have been better, it was the amount of dishes/silverware. If you're not planning on doing any cooking, then no problem.”
