"If you remember “the good old days” of the small family-run Italian small hotel, this will make you go right back to those lost days! Riccardo and his family are so wonderful. When I told him I was interested in the history of the region, he quickly told me 5 or 6 amazing tales from the distant past, as well as from his own lived experience. This is why we travel: to meet people like this! Did I mention this hotel is LOVELY with a fine attention to detail in all things? I wish I could’ve stayed longer! Be sure to explore the Delta areas to see the incredible wildlife- it’s a world apart."
