“Excellent resort with beautiful views, staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that on a couple of occasions we had to wait for the buggy between 20 - 30 minutes. They do state that the maximum wait time is 20 minutes, I feel this should be no more than 10 minutes maximum, it is quite a walk from the villa to the main part of the hotel. ”

Breakfast options a little limited but no major dramas and Ella town is 3 min walk (downhill at least a little slower back up) and a real backpacker fun town with lots of great food options - no problem sorting dinner.”
“The hotel is located up the hill, 4km hilly drive to the main road. Good thing is it's very secluded, all quiet and tranquil in the middle of some small villages and tea farms. Bad thing is you won't want to go out at all. The hotel is very vintage colonial stage, well pre-served from its tea factory days.

“A lovely hotel that i would gladly stay in again. The hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel has a stunning view over Gregory Lake! What makes this hotel is how friendly the staff are. They greeted us with a warm welcome every day and even gave us a free beer.
The only suggestions to make this a top hotel would be more staff, as there seemed to be 2 of them doing everything. I would also suggest a buffet style breakfast and closing the door to make it safer,……
