“Santa Maria Navarrese is a great location and the hotel is very central, on the corner of the main square. Plenty of gelato options and food nearby. The beach is 2 minutes walk and the path takes you past the best of the beach bars. The beach is pebbly, so best to take sea shoes, but the water is really clear and there are plenty of fish if you snorkel out 10-20m or so. The hotel staff are really friendly and the owners always greet you with a smile and a cheery bon giorno. I would not hesitate……

“Such a unique property, set in a very private and peaceful area. We could hear small herds of goats passing by, with their bells ringing. The staff are amazingly helpful! Very approachable! We chose to stay one extra night because it is such a lovely place.”

“We arrived at 9:30PM. Stefania knew we would be hungry after a long day of travel and offered to order us a pizza which arrived quickly. The property is beautiful. The breakfast bountiful. Wish we could have stayed longer.”

“A simple, quiet and relatively affordable place to stay far removed from busy traffic. If you arrive in peak season, be aware that the pool area will cost you extra per day and visit. We stayed in one of the cabins and bed linen and towels were also extra, which was a surprise to us upon arriving. The staff is helpful and friendly. We failed to locate the playground that is supposed to be at the camping, but found lots of other ways to kill time and have fun for the kids. If you have your own……

“It's a longish drive from Cagliari (around 250KM) but of course it's worth it to really get away from it all. The hotel is a lovely place up in the hills so you have your choice of the spectacular mountain scenery on one side or a lazy day on the beaches on the other. Watch those twisty mountain roads though! Watch more for the Mountain Goats who, I swear, like to leap out at you just for a dare. Especially when you're coming around on a tight u-bend with a deadly sheer precipice on one side.……

“We had the pleasure to spend a night at Ogliastra Hotel. The rooms are renovated and spacious. The owner Luciano gave us a great hospitality and helped us with our tourist journey. He also has the best espresso coffee! Definitely I’ll be back there. ”

“Das Hotel ist als Familie super. Der Kinderpool ist sehr gut geeignet für Kleinkinder oder auch größere Kinder. Die komplette Anlage ist wunderschön gelegen und grün angelegt. Durch die kleinen Häuschen ist die Anlage sehr weitläufig und nicht die typische Hotelbunker Anlage. Beim Frühstück gab es leider jeden Tag das Selbe. Das Abendessen ist sehr abwechslungsreich und es gibt selbst für die Kleinen immer leere Nudeln mit oder ohne Tomatensauce. Die Anlage ist direkt am Meer und zu dieses……

“Omu Axiu is exactly what we needed to get the feel of Sardinia. After how busy Cagliari was and even Costa Sud, it was a dream to get to the hotel and homestead. Monika and Claudia made us feel so welcome and fed us like royalty for dinner and breakfast. very rustic atmosphere which is what we were looking for. ”
