Tucked between moor and coast in northeast Cornwall, Rosehip Barn offers something increasingly rare - a place to truly slow down, reconnect, and spend meaningful time together.
This 12th-century barn, in the same family since 1703, has been thoughtfully adapted into a flexible, multi-space home that works beautifully for families, friends, and small gatherings.
Rather than a standard holiday rental, Rose Hip Barn is designed around connection. There are no TVs in the bedrooms, encouraging rest and presence, while a projector and generous shared spaces invite cosy film nights, games, and long conversations.
The layout allows both togetherness and privacy, with several distinct but connected living areas:
Sparkies (main house) with three bedrooms, a utility space, and an upstairs living area with wood burner and sweeping views across Bodmin Moor.
A large studio space ideal for relaxing, gathering, or creative time, with modular seating and a kitchenette
The Mill House, offering additional flexible sleeping for up to four guests
The Shipping, a self-contained apartment-style space for added privacy
Outside, guests can enjoy a fire pit, open space, and access to surrounding land - perfect for children to explore and adults to unwind.
The barn is ideally located for exploring both coast and countryside, with easy access to the Eden Project and the South West Coast Path.
Whether you’re gathering with friends, holidaying with young children, or simply seeking a more grounded way to spend time away, Rosehip Barn offers a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
