Very clean inside and out. The rooms were great, well kept up and large with a separate seating area etc. The staff I dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. With limited options in the Lexington area, I would think this is one of the best. Not much for amenities but that didn't bother me at all. It is near a mall with a few eating options within walking be we ventured downtown and found a great restaurant.

They were in the process of remodeling and refreshing rooms. My room was musty smelling with air conditioning that did not function reliably. There was food (a fried shrimp) on the floor under a chair. There was an associated bug problem. I slept with all the lights on to deter any additional bugs (roaches) from appearing at night. The staff were nice and the breakfast area had a 100% rating so the lack of cleanliness was not pervasive. Overall it was a bad experience. I will not return.

The front desk and cleaning staff were great. More attention needs to be made to hallways - older carpet, trash outside of rooms, outdated key entry, tv channels not include espn, no welcome folder with nearby restaurants, etc.

The property has a nice outdoor pool and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are showing significant wear though. The sofa in my room looked like a cat had used it as a scratching post and I’ve seen furniture in fraternity houses with fewer stains on the upholstery. A few things brought into question the cleanliness of the room as well. The floor was noticeably sticky, along with the tops of furniture. The sheets and pillows had a persistent damp feeling to them. Finally, there was an opened bar of soap in the shower when I arrived. The Quality Inn brand, as well as other Choice Hotels brands used to signify well maintained and clean properties. Not just with this particular property, but others under this brand seem to have declined over the last few years.

My room had ceiling damage...sheet rock looked like it had been comprised with water at some point. Floors were sticky. One bar of soap (little). Asked for extra bed linens and was told I could only get sheets. No extra blankets were available. The guy who looked for me actually walked into another room for about 2 secs and then advised me they had none.

Awful odor in lobby and rooms. Other clientele seemed to be connected to some type of halfway half for ex offenders and were using washer and dryers late. Receptionist gave me erroneous information when she said I could get a refund from Expedia for a second room that I booked erroneously. That piece of advice cost me $100 .

When I got out from the car,holding my family drive thru dinner brown bags trash to throw away,the hotel employee was standing outside and asked me how was your meal. My family checked in past 11:30pm and the front desk guy(it's the same guyu who asked me earlier how was your meal) gave us our room key. Expecting the room will be clean and ready for us. It was not ready,there were wet used towels on the floor,the floor was wet.The two beds were not ready.You can tell someone had slept on the bed. That we have to go back to the front desk and told the front desk guy the room was not ready. Second room that we moved it was cleaned except every minute the a/c will died down and turn on back.It was hot and never get cool down during the night that i have to kicked the blanket during the night and got wet neck.

I’ve stayed here before and it was lovely. This time was a bit different, but I will give it a third try. One of the beds was only partially made and the main, warm blanket was damp. The whole roomwas damp—slight smell, floor felt damp, pillow cases/sheets felt damp. Perhaps just short-staffed this go around.

While the room was clean that's the only plus from our stay. While entering the pool I fell from the ladder which was missing the 2nd step. I brought to management's attention to only get a "oh no ". The breakfast was sparce with no fresh fruit available. The parking lot was being sealed causing a horrible smell throughout the night. The staff seemed overwhelmed and during the day absent from the desk. I waited to report a toilet issue. When management finally came was told she was in the middle of taking an online class. I would have left if not for prepayment.
