It was very reasonably priced. The room is in a very old house which has been made in a hotel (of sorts). The room smelled because the only window was high and adjoined a foyer which was enclosed. Fresh air was in short supply! The bedroom walls were very dirty; someone had put dirty feet on them. It wouldn't have taken a lot of effort to clean off the dirty marks. No one bothered. Our room was very spacious, clean and cozy with tons of natural light and a lovely view of a main street. The private bathroom was clean. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable (a rarity in Peru as our 3 other guesthouses had terribly hard beds and bad pillows). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring all the interesting spots in Lima, and just one block from the main square. This came with a drawback, though, as the street Santa Rosa is on is VERY noisy well into the evening, especially on weekends. Our room overlooked this street and was very noisy even with all the windows closed. Luckily by 11pm things quieted down considerably. Situé dans un ancien immeuble Art Déco qui n'a pas été rénové, la pension vaut surtout par son emplacement dans l'immédiate proximité de la Plaza des Armas et des principales curiosités baroques du Lima ancien. Les chambres sont vétustes et pourraient faire l'objet de quelques aménagements. Bon petit déjeuner et personnel très serviable.
