The delightful, detached Rectory Cottage stands in the grounds of Blankney’s former rectory. It enjoys a secluded position within its own enclosed garden. Enjoy a day exploring nearby Lincoln, famous for its magnificent cathedral, castle, and the Magna Carta Visitor Centre. Visit the Bailgate area in the heart of Lincoln’s historic quarter and discover a world of specialist shops including boutiques, crafts, book, and gift shops, not to mention tea rooms and restaurants that line the cobbled streets. The neighbouring village, with its pub and restaurant is just 1½ miles away, and Blankney Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course, is under ½ mile.

Rectory Cottage has been renovated to a high standard of comfort, with two bathrooms on the first floor, one of which is en-suite. Relax in front of the cosy wood burner with a good book or enjoy the view of the mature garden from the conservatory or have a soak in the hot tub - there is plenty of space for everyone. A network of footpaths, offering country walks, is easily accessible and the area offers great cycle routes. Shops and pub/restaurants 1½ miles.

Lovely cottage and nice grocery touches on arrival.

Lovely cottage and nice grocery touches on arrival.Great hot tub, conservatory and fenced garden for the dog.Only downside is the heating, there are issues and visiting in winter it needs sorting.Would definitely return but would want assurances about the heating if a winter stay.

Very enjoyable stay at Rectory cottage. Cottage was even better than expected. Exceptionally clean to a high standard. Hot tub was given attention every day. Great space with everything you need. The cottage is situated in quiet grounds but local villages nearby and Lincoln which was lovely to visit. Welcome pack was perfect thank you! Planning on returning again soon.

Impressive, secluded cottage which was immaculately presented and featured a beautifully maintained hot tub along with a spacious conservatory with underfloor heating. Overall we were very pleased - however, there were on-going problems with radiators failing to come on, especially upstairs - the helpful estate staff were not able to sort this out, except with temporary fixes.

Rectory Cottage

A comfortable house, with underfloor heating, well equpped kitchen and relaxing hot tub. A great place to just have a break from the stresses of life.
