The hosts Kev and Sue were very helpful. The cottage is in a great location , with just a 40 minute drive to the south and north cornwall coasts. The cottage has everything you need and was of a very high standard and very clean. It's set in a lovely large garden with fantastic views. The cottage is located in the owners extensive and beautifully kept gardens with a South facing aspect making an evening drink outside a delight. Inside is comfortable and spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped and appears to have been recently fitted. There are as many utensils and items of crockery and glassware as we have at home, a spacious fridge freezer is included and microwave, toaster etc. The bedroom is huge with a comfy king sized bed, as you are deep in countryside there is a wonderful view from all the windows. We greatly enjoyed our visit and will return if we come this way again. Just a few items to point out - the fridge is extremely noisy, and its the first cottage that we have been too that didn't have a cafetiere which was most disappointing. Badgers Drift is an ideal touring base for visiting a large number of National Trust properties. We highly recommend visiting Trelissick House, Lanhydrock, Cotehele, and Trerice.
