Quaint Cape Cod attached home nestled atop a hill near Speedwell Forge Lake

Welcome to the Homestead on Weber Road! A quaint little attached Cape Cod nestled atop a hill near Speedwell Forge Lake is perfect for the family, a girlfriend trip, or a couples only weekend trip to beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Relax in a heated sunroom located at the back of the property overlooking a wooded backyard and large meadow beyond where you will frequently see deer, red fox, and a large variety of wild birds. Sunroom also contains a large, flat screen TV and wrap around sofa with a queen pull-out sofa bed. Cozy family room provides guests another flat screen TV and DVD. A well-equipped, recently renovated eat-in kitchen with a large kitchen table and island that makes everyone feel welcome. Master bedroom suite with a king bed is located off the kitchen on the first floor. Full bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom with all main floor doorways and bathroom being ADA compliant. Laundry Room is also on the first floor for ease of doing a quick load of wash. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One contains a queen bed and the other has a full daybed with a twin pull-out trundle which is perfect for the kids or teens. Another full bathroom is located between the two upstairs bedrooms. Parking for up to six vehicles in driveway. House has free Wi-Fi and satellite TV in the Family Room, Master Bedroom and Sunroom; Smart TVs are in the upstairs bedrooms. Towels and Bed Linens are provided.

This is our second time staying here. We love it. The kids love the family room and we all just crash on the huge couch at night. The view out of all the glass windows is so pretty. Would for sure stay there again. Had the privilege of talking to the landlord both times. Such a nice, polite man.

Great home base for family trip
My husband and 2.5yo daughter stayed on this property over Christmas and it was the perfect home base for the week. The house is extremely clean and even nicer than in the photos. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom at the start and end of each day. It is also in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Although it feels like it’s far away from everything it is actually extremely convenient to all the local amenities. Great stay, would recommend!

We loved this "haven on the hill"! It was close to all the sights and places we wanted to visit near Lancaster and the surrounding towns and cities. Terri and Bob have seen to every detail of the house, from a really wonderful kitchen to the comfort of the sunroom and warmth of the living room. The bedrooms were large and bright, and I especially loved the "kids'" room, with its overstuffed animals and childrens' books - even though we had no kids to amuse. I felt at peace and well rested after this stay, and I would LOVE to come back soon.

Everything was great for our stay. A very lovely home a bit tricky finding it in the dark but once we found it all was perfect for our stay. My two daughters 17 and 20 were very pleased as well!! Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was as promised on the website. We needed a fan for the upstairs bedroom, and the owner gave us the standing fan from his bedroom; extremely nice of him. The countryside was beautiful as was the town of Lititz.

Girls Weekend Getaway
This property, from the outside to the inside, exceeded our expectations. It is very well cared for and that is evident throughout this property. There was plenty of room for 7 of us and great accomodations for sleeping. The convenience of having both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom was very much appreciated. The owners, Bob and Terri l, were quick to replying to a question I had and were super friendly. The outside was beautifully manicured and had terrific curb appeal. We loved seeing the deer come past the chicken coop each evening. It was even really cool to see the chickens from the sunroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it much easier to prepare the few meals and snacks that we had during our stay. We would definitely rebook this beautiful home if we come back to the area.
