8/10 Good
"What we Ioved was the saunas available to.everyone, the breakfast included and the closeness to the beach! What was very disappointing was the gym/fitness with their limited equipment. The meals are very delicious - highly recommend getting the buffet dinner!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Losentitz?
The best area to stay in Losentitz is directly within the village itself for a quintessential rural Mecklenburg experience.

Losentitz is a small, quiet village characterized by its traditional architecture and proximity to natural landscapes, including the nearby Losentitz Lake and the surrounding forests. The main road through the village, DorfstraƟe, connects the scattered farmhouses and guesthouses, offering a peaceful retreat.

Couples seeking a tranquil and scenic getaway will find Losentitz ideal. The village provides opportunities for leisurely walks, bike rides through the countryside, and relaxing by the lake.
When is the best time to go to Losentitz?
The best time to visit Losentitz is during the late spring (May to early June) and late summer/early autumn (late August to September) when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities.

During these periods, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s Fahrenheit, with less rainfall compared to the peak summer months. This makes it ideal for exploring the surrounding natural landscapes, including the nearby forests and the shores of Lake Kummerow, without the intensity of summer crowds.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and the opportunity for scenic walks or bike rides in the surrounding countryside. The mild weather in May allows for observing the spring bloom, while September offers beautiful autumn colors, great for photography and relaxed exploration.

Families can also enjoy these times, as the cooler temperatures are conducive to outdoor excursions without overheating, and many local attractions, such as nature parks and small-town festivals, are still accessible.
