“If you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. ”

“This property is exactly as described. Very family friendly, pet friendly. Unfortunately the people before us left a bit of a mess with trash and dog feces, but overall the stay was wonderful and we enjoyed our time there!!”

“We had a great time at the Cozy Bear Cub Cabin. Very comfortable seating and beds. They thought of everything. We hope to come back in the winter for skiing.”

“This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

“Loved the large patio time we had with our family! Only thing was the fireplace in living room didn’t work. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are amazing, lots of star gazing at night. The house is beautiful, with everything you need, and nicely decorated. If we vacation in the area again, we'll be checking the availability of this vacation home. ”

“Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there……

“Newly remodeled, quiet area, 5 min walk to the lake, great location to ski resorts and dining, quick responses if you have questions, and easy check-in and check-out. I highly recommend! ”

“Great place! Lots of space for 2 families, and big kitchen with everything you need!”

“Nice ski house! Very clean, comfy beds, nice big garage, flat lot. There was even a snowman in the yard when we arrived. 😊”

“It’s hard to find a comfy house that allows dogs, so we are glad we found this one! The house is HUGE. 3 floors so if you don’t do stairs well maybe re think this house. We didn’t mind the stairs at all. The house was super warm when we used the central heater and they provide a space heater for every room. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans you could want. Everything in the kitchen works super well. Could use. A bit more silverware. Overall the stay was great and we’d stay……

“We enjoyed staying in this dog-friendly Tahoe Donner vacation home. It was comfortable and nicely apportioned. We really appreciated that all the windows and slider had operational screens and that there were free-standing fans available! Many of the homes we have rented have not had screens (to allow for afternoon cooling without attracting moths and mosquitos in). We also appreciated access to the garage to store our bikes safely. The only comment is the vacuum cleaner was non-functional -- it……

“Wonderful, peaceful getaway! Beautiful location right across from the lake with a close dock to go in kayaks and paddle boards. The hosts graciously let us use their canoe and other fun equipment. The kids could ride bikes in the street with very little traffic. We even had lots of wiffle ball games in the street too. It was a wonderful vacation! ”
