This is an old pub with rooms, not an hotel. It has a very definite charm. Supper was good standard pub fare. Breakfast was not available midweek but that was no hardship to us. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean but it was such a shame that you could only get luke warm water in the shower and the noise from the cistern kept waking us up throughout the night.

Stayed at the Windmill before and accommodation is excellent. Had 2 wonderful evening meals. Pet friendly. Only let down on the last day was a boiler failure which meant no hot water and only a dribble of cold water. So no shower I’m afraid! Had to boil kettle to get hot water for a wash of sorts. Staff very apologetic but couldn’t sort the issue before we had to leave.
