Parking is included, the rooms are air conditioned (we were there during a heatwave), everything is efficient and fuss free, the rooms are clean and it is around a 10 min drive to the center of Reims.”

“Château de Fère is set in an extraordinary location, and the setting alone makes it well worth a stop. The historic château and its grounds have a real sense of grandeur that is difficult to find elsewhere. The hotel itself is a little tired in places, but everything is perfectly functional. In many ways, that adds to its character and authenticity, rather than feeling like another polished but generic five star chain hotel. “We enjoyed our stay here. The lady on reception was lovely. The apartment was very clean and as described. Slightly unusual being in/above a care home but totally fine. Fantastic value. We found it easily using the info provided. Only negatives were breakfast didn’t open until 7:50 so we were waiting around, and our car was dented in the carpark which nobody owned up to and car trim disappeared.”

“Le propriétaire m'a dit qu'il ne travaillait plus avec expedia alors que j'avais une réservation avec expedia et donc il ne m'avait pas réservé de chambre. Par conséquent il m'a logé dans une chambre de dépannage sans aucun confort (juste un matelas sur le sol). Chambre située sous le toit alors qu'il faisait extrêmement chaud (période de canicule) et chambre qui n'était pas équipée de clim ou de ventilateur. J'ai passé une nuit exécrable.”
