“We arranged our stay at the last minute whilst travelling south. However, the owners were more than prepared for our stay. They both greeted us and asked if we would require an evening meal which we did. They were able to join us for a drink before serving the MOST delicious four course meal from locally sourced produce (including from their own garden) and wine at a very reasonable price. Comfortable bed and traditional breakfast. Highly recommend xxx”

“Really didn’t enjoy our stay here. On arrival you had to walk through a sea of cigarette smoke to reach the front door of the hotel. Very basic check in support from reception with a comment made about needing to ask if we needed the bed making up! Thought that this was job of hotel staff but never mind. In comparison to other stats with similar night rates during our trip, this was by far the worst nights stay that we had. I would not stay here again.”

“We had a terrific one night stay. Undercover safe parking. Hotel was immaculate. When we had an issue with our air conditioner staff helped us immediately to a different room. Bar upstairs and lovely and breakfast was great. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful.”

“The stay at Hostellerie Sarrasine was more than lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautifully tended. The room was traditional and had modern technology. The best part was the food and service. The Famille Bévy had the most delicious French food; their cook incredible. The Bresse chicken is a must. The wine options phenomenal. The Famille Bévy were accommodating and so very warm to us. Would highly recommend this place for any looking to warm the soul. ”
