“The motel is a little “rough around the edges,” but the owner/front-desk man (I think he was the owner) told me he is updating the property. There were new furnishings stockpiled in the lobby for the rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The front-desk guy brought us extra towels and coffee for the coffee maker, and even gave us microfiber cloths to clean our motorcycle gear. Very nice of him to do that! “The room we paid for was not at all what we expected. The bed was super high, like a giant was to sleep there! Meanwhile, the bathroom toilet and bath were super low, like it was meant for kids only. It seems the soundproofing was not good at all. At midnight, we got woken up by the noise of the people upstairs directly from us. Needless to say, we were not able to get back to sleep. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for.”

“Great location to walk around downtown Fredericksburg or to the Pacific War Museum. Nice outdoor seating if you are a smoker or like to get a bit of fresh air.
Breakfast is minimal (oatmeal, pastries). We struggled with the humidity and the request to keep the AC at 70 or above. Covered parking right next to each unit. Very affordable.”
