“Our stay at Hoffman Haus was just OK. The breakfast were excellent, and the staff was very accommodating, especially when they provided breakfast early for our departure. However, the property did not quite make our expectations based on the photos and reviews. The accommodations felt more rustic than anticipated and after rain, the gravel parking areas were very muddy, making it difficult to keep the room clean. The room also lacks some practical touches such as floor mats, rugs and bathroom……

“We enjoyed our stay in the Tree House. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. It is in a quiet location with easy parking right off Main Street.”

“There really no amenities. The outside areas are bordered on the junkiest places which is what you view while sitting outside. Front porch is small but the view from front is pleasant. The air conditioner was programmed on pre-set temps which caused the place to get very warm in between us overriding the thermostat. Clean but well used. Minimal kitchen set up. Honestly the description was exaggerated. ”

“Rooms are amazing, clean, comfy, relaxing! Staff is amazing Emmet was wonderful to us he made us delicious breakfast in the mornings! Pool is also wonderful, and relaxing with beautiful flowers around the property and pool! This place is a wonderful place to get away from the city and just unwind and spend some quality time with your partner or family... ”

“Beautiful property, very well located in town, beside an excellent winery tasting room. Lovely owners, spacious room and very spacious bathroom. Delicious gelato was a lovely additional touch. Thoroughly recommend this property if you’re in Fredericksburg ”
