“My husband, kids and I spent two nights at this quaint home with access to the Deschutes River. It was lovely and felt secluded, but still close to food. Went for a hike about 40 minutes away and enjoyed having campfires in the early evening both nights. Jeanne was very prompt with responding to my request and throughout the home there was thoughtful items there for our use and convenience. Thank you for a lovely stay! ”

“It was quiet and nice, we hiked, cooked dinner and relaxed.”

“We stayed for three nights and wished it was longer! This home sits right on the edge of Lake Alder. Occasional boats and fisherman come and go, and it is very quiet and peaceful. We brought paddle boards to use, and also used one of the ones supplied by the owner. The home worked well for three of us. The kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable, AC worked well during the hot days. Early mornings on the covered deck, enjoying the view and reading and a good cup of……

“This little house is so cozy and comfortable and the view was absolutely spectacular. The location is perfect. Just minutes from town for groceries and restaurants. Also close to multiple parks with great hiking trails. We were in town to visit my son who is stationed at JBLM. We went to the city for a baseball game and a couple of sightseeing tours but mostly we enjoyed hanging at this little oasis in the woods. Highly recommend!! ”

The price is incredibly reasonable for the multiple activities provided and for the amazing view. I would 100% go again and next time I’ll bring more of my friends and family. “I just needed a place to stay while I was attending a conference at Pack Forest in Eatonville, and I found this location online and it seemed like a perfect fit for my needs. Arrival and check-in was effortless and flexible. Host graciously upgraded me to a larger cabin called the nest, and I found it to be perfect. Nice kitchen facilities, French press coffee maker and well decorated usable space. Building is a gorgeous timber framed design with a deck, outdoor chiminea / fire pit and seating……
