"Booked a basic room over the weekend. Everything, including bathroom, was very clean. The bathroom door is just a sliding door (in case this is important to anyone). There was some muted noise from other guests but not too noisy even on the first floor. Staff was watchful and helpful. The hotel is also about a mile from a very big train station. "Convenient, comfortable and clean: Perfect airport hotel. Just a couple of minutes walk from the station and just a little further to T2. On the flat with dropped kerbs so dragging a case wasn’t a problem.
Bar had a nice atmosphere, and food decent value so spending s couple of hours there made the evening before the flight a part of the holiday. Nice toiletries in rooms and Nespresso machine to caffeinate before heading off for morning flight. No time to try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. "

"Whilst the manager was helpful and pleasant, and the bedding clean, that is pretty much where positivity ends. This hotel desperately needs care and attention - flooring coming up in bathroom and a window which didn't shut properly, letting in street noise throughout the night. Heating left full on with no control to switch off. Walls were paper thin so could hear every word of adjoining room's conversation. "

Considering people with allergies or from different background would like to bring small portion of their food to refrigerate or warm prior eating. This does not affect the sales from the Indian restaurant and should be provided to attract more clients. Thanks"

Only criticism is the bed is just a normal double size.. for us we prefer a bigger bed.
