"Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting. Great facilities (tennis, pool, sauna, jacuzzi), outdoor dining, barbecue, next to a river, lovely owners, close to a town that has good food outlets. "This delightful house is set in an small historic town located in a central part of the Loire, on the river Cher. From here we could explore the Loire Valley itself, the Solonge, and Berry. The cottage was comfortable, warm and suited our needs as a couple. Deborah provided easy instructions and a warm greeting when we arrived. St Aignan has enough facilities, including food options. "Both immersed into the nature and easily connected to any of the surrounding attractions (e.g. the many castles, the beautiful Beauval zoo, etc.), the accomodation has anything an average family with children could desire. Definitely recommended!"

"We really enjoyed our trip to the Loire Valley, the area is really in the countryside and lovely and peaceful. The cottage was clean, well equipped and roomy. We had some good trips out to Blois (the Chateau is really nice) and the town had some good shops, Clos Luce Parc (which is where Leonardo da Vinci lived), this was very popular with school trips etc. and is well worth a visit, as was Orleans (for shops etc.). We had a good day out also at the Zoo Parc de Beauval, not cheap but well...

"Petit gîte idéal si l'on souhaite se ressourcer car très calme. Comme indiqué dans l'annonce : attention aux escaliers qui sont très, très raides. Pas idéal donc avec des personnes âgées et des enfants en bas âge. L'annonce indique 4 personnes max et effectivement je trouve que 4 personnes c'est un maximum pour profiter agréablement du gîte. Juste un petit point "faible" auquel je m'attendais un peu compte tenu du type de bâtisse (murs épais et anciens) : une odeur d'humidité était assez...

"Relaxing, refreshing, restful! We thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome and attentiveness when we had questions. The rural setting was quiet and serene, but close to the locations we wanted to visit. The owners were lovely, lovely people. If we ever return to this area again, we would certainly look to stay again!!"
