“We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautifully done with all the modern amenities. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and you get an amazing view of the water. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and local shops and down the street is a park. It’s only 1.25 hours away from Baxter State Park which is one of the reasons we chose it. It was nice coming back to such a cozy place from a long day of hiking. It has the cutest backyard and we enjoyed the sunset and our morning……

“This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!”

We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. “We stayed at this location for a long weekend that included the total solar eclipse. The location is beautiful and the cabin is perfect. We were not able to utilize the dock or really get into the woods because of the snow but still enjoyed our time. 10/10 would recommend!”

The property owner is responsive and helpful. We lucked out with great weather: sunny and clear views of Katahdin, with ice still on the lake and piles of snow from a spring snowstorm. “We planned a family reunion around the total eclipse of April 8. Though viewing it required a further drive north, this house was a perfect place for our reunion. We were so appreciative and grateful for how well it supported and enhanced an amazing time together all around. We felt very lucky with our choice and its availability! “The pictures don't do this property justice, it is much better than you expect. Plenty of room for a few families. So clean and very well stocked kitchen! We came during snow and ice still on the lake, but I can imagine what a perfect place for the summer too. Loved how friendly everyone is in the area. “Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out). The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. In addition to the gorgeous lake views from the two sets of sliding doors, water can be seen through side windows on both sides of the house: It's a lovely location. The dock……

“We, 5 adults, 4 kiddos, and 2 dogs, had such a lovely winter stay! The property is perfectly located on a pond perfect for ice fishing, or just enjoying the view, and the house was pristinely clean and very spacious inside. The beds were all VERY cozy, the kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking & baking supplies we needed to make meals to enjoy in the sun-filled main floor. Sun & snow Maine winter perfection! We hope to return to enjoy Summer or Fall here - the owners are super……

“We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return.”

“I highly suggest this room. It has beautiful taste. Just bring yourselves and food if you wish. Everything is there for you. Your own kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom and all it's utensils. Anytime im back in the area thats where ill be, and the owner is absolutely pleasant to talk to.”

“We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic!……
