Where to stay

Unfortunately, it is not possible to book a stay underneath the sandstone formations of Arches Na-tional Park, but Moab, Utah, is about as close as it gets. Moab is also a bit of a cultural hotspot, known for its quirky-cool locals, great hotels, and thriving artistic scene. On a trip to some of America's most glorious nature, linger in the neighborhood, where friendly locals and one-of-a-kind shops are almost interesting enough to skip a day hiking through the rust-orange gorges near-by. At least, the town's appeal makes going back to the hotel at the end of the day something to look forward to.
