Most won't even know the name of the place as they pass through on their way to Bangkok, but it does hold some gems for those looking to get off the beaten path. Besides the rapidly logged Cardamom Forest, you'll also find the incredible Peam Krasaop Mangrove Sanctuary here located about 10 to 15 minutes outside of town by moto.
