“The hotel is quiet with extensive areas for guests. The Leisure suite is excellent with sauna, steam room and a spacious, well equipped gym. Breakfast has lots of choice although the options have definitely been reduced since we were last there 6-8 years ago. Parking is plentiful and the views across the valley are beautiful. The hotel is a substantial building and in places it's becoming a bit tired. However, we slept extremely well without any noise or disturbance. The limited staff are……

“This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.”

“Our room was in an an annexe off the car park. So it was easy to load and unload the car. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were were very friendly. The location was a short drive from Leominster, which was lovely.”

“It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.”

“A one night stay plus breakfast. Good. No issues. Not that it was an issue for my stay but for future reference to consider permitting dogs. Maybe allocate some rooms for o/night stay with dogs. Wonderful countryside location. You advertise walks. Missing out on a key £ market!”

“Excellent place to stay with dogs as you are self contained with an area to walk them away from the main road. Facilities good, we had a lovely garden cottage - only downside are the doors are built for hobbits (I’m a little over 5ft and had no issues, 6ft + hubby cracked his head once…”
