Impressive from the friendly staff to the room that was not just pretty, but very clean. I have a mold sensitivity and expect to have mild reactions when staying in hotels, but zero issues here. Also, excellent complimentary coffee to-go at the bar!

Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location for walking around downtown Montrose (which is very cute). We were initially placed in a queen room when we reserved a king; fortunately we were able to switch into a king. Coffee bar downstairs was convenient and made good drinks. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. It’s only one flight which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. Bedside wall lights are awkwardly placed so they need to be moved to avoid hitting your head and moved back for reading. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was difficult (uber and Lyft not reliable there, no taxis at airport) so plan to make arrangements in advance.

This was a gem we found while traveling from California and Nevada to The Black Canyon of the Gunnison. It is very close to the national park in a super cute area. This hotel may just be one of my favorites I’ve ever stayed in. It was newly renovated and they left no stone unturned. Our room was huge, the bathroom was incredible with lots of space, a beautiful shower, and double sinks. Best of all, it was spotless. One of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Very friendly and helpful staff as well! We wished we could have stayed longer!

The room was very nice—modern, spacious and spotless. The bar was well-stocked and with all the garnishes and little details that make great cocktails. Also made us the best coffee we found in town in the morning. The service overall was fantastic. The staff was so friendly, beyond personable—we ran into a few snags with our trip and they bent over backwards to help us, just went above and beyond. Could not recommend this place more.

A lovely historic hotel (but very modernized!) right smack in downtown Montrose. Our room was huge, as was the bathroom (really nice shower!). Everything was super clean and had an elegant quality. Location was superb, with several dining options within easy walking distance.
