This is a clean, comfortable, well located motel in Montrose. I will stay here again any time I am passing through. I stayed here while on a multi-day motorcycle trip. This place was just what I needed. Very close to Safeway and several restaurants.

It was a great stay! The room was nice and clean. Surprisingly spacious room. The manager was very friendly. Parking is easy and comfortable. The breakfast had waffeles, bars, fruit, cereal, hot drinks, juice, yougurt, and a bunch of other things I dont remember. Honestly everything I look for.

Property is part of the "1st Interstate" motel chain, but haven't stayed in one for years... (first of their locations that has 2-story construction) -- we requested ground floor room, but can no longer seem to get Expedia app to transmit these requests. At any rate, they had assigned us to 2nd floor room, but agreed to move us to a ground floor room. Parking was a bit tricky (because it was adjacent to motel office), but otherwise went ok. All amenities functional as advertised, didn't have any trouble operating anything (though having more than one coffee pod would have been helpful, had to find our own coffee packets).

I only stayed 1 night as last minute stay and it did the job. A.little sketchy when i arrived bc im not used to motels, but My room was clean, quiet. Good water pressure. Bed was comfy. Felt pretty safe overall. Owner at counter was friendly and helpful! Overall better stay than I expected and actually better experience than some of the major hotel chains I've stayed in. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for. The hotel as a whole is very outdated. We didn't have any issues parking nor getting to our room. The room itself was outdated- but the wood floors over carpet were a plus. The bed was very comfortable and sheets were clean. Our toilet/shower was room was dusty and mold around the exhaust fan was gross. The vanity area was ok, towels were stained and dingy. The AC was a new unit and worked great, microwave and fridge also a plus. The free breakfast was a choice of cereal, make your own waffles, yogurt, and packaged sugary snacks. A choice of fresh apple or banana, OJ, and coffee were also offered. We needed a place, this was less than a $100 a night and it worked. I wouldn't stay here for longer than that.
