The host (Julie) was extremely accommodating with instructions throughout our planning, which included a comprehensive listing of local eateries and activities. This VRBO is a hidden gem that we highly recommend to anyone traveling through, or staying in the Blanding area for any length of time. On a scale of 1 to 10.....this is definitely an 11!!!”

“Dark Canyon was indeed a great off grid experience. The 360-degree views around the cabin with no other humans around offered something not found very often. Sitting on the deck at sunset while enjoying a glass of whiskey and looking at the Bears Ears was truly a western experience. The sunrises make you want to get up early just to experience the beauty. "It doesn't look luxurious at first, but the facilities are very complete. The air conditioner is turned on before you check in, so it is cool as soon as you enter the room. There is water in the refrigerator and a freezer compartment, which can quickly cool down the food. It's a quiet place in a quiet town. Very nice."
