More of a motel than a hotel, which suited me perfectly because I was travelling with my dog. I was able to park directly in front of my room and walk into it at ground level - no stairs.
The room was spacious and clean, the air conditioning worked very well, which was great because it was a very hot day.
The fridge wasn't working so I called the front desk. I had to use my cell phone because the phone in the room also wasn't working. A maintenance man arrived within minutes of my calling; he checked the fridge, and within 15 minutes had installed one that worked in my room. Fantastic service!
The bathroom sink had obviously been around from when it had been a smoking room because there were cigarette burn marks on it but it was clean and the hot water at the sink was hot.
However, the hot water for the bath/shower was hit and miss. I never did get it properly regulated for my shower.
I didn't use the TV, I didn't use the microwave. I found it a bit strange that there wasn't a small drip coffee maker in the room as there had been at another Days Inn where I've stayed so in the morning I went to the reception/check in/lobby area for coffee. The coffee machine wasn't working but it did dispense boiling water and the manager on duty had a jar of instant coffee. The breakfast offering was limited to apples, bananas and granola bars, very limited as compared to the other Days Inn.
But a pleasant stay and I would stay there again if travelling the same route in the future.
