You can explore an array of independent shops and cafes and the quirky boat-style shopping pods in the harbour. You could try activities including canoeing and kayaking at the local water sports centre. You can walk or cycle along the scenic coastal routes to Cresswell, Druridge Bay or Alnmouth, or take a boat trip to Coquet Island to see the birdlife. Located on the Northumberland Coastal Path and National Cycle Route 1, with easy access to St. Oswald's Way for walking and cycling,
