"Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great ..."

"Cheap & basics clean, toilet, basin, bath & bedding were immaculate, however the building & decor is very worn & tired, double glazing in room & ensuite were blown, mould around sealant around the bathroom window, walls had a lot of dirty marks & knob on wardrobe door was really marked. "This small cottage was ideally situated in Amble, a busy fishing village even in early November. Close, too, to the local, excellent restaurants and pubs. The host was helpful and fun. The cottage is pet friendly and parking nearby is always possible. Thoroughly recommended."

"Glorious peaceful location and the Mary Rose literally had everything we needed as a family. Everything was just easy, best temperature control settings of any property we have stayed in. Highly recommend and would love to come back."
