"The hotel does not live up to the advertising. It is not aging well. The lift was broken throughout our stays. The floors are extreme creaky and you hear everybody moving throughout the building. "The inn is in a good place for a base, breakfast was ok but a healthier option would be a nice change. Rooms are fine but avoid room 1 as it backs onto female toilets of the bar. and you can hear the door banging too and the aircon quite loudly in the room ..also the cleaners at 5:30 ….but overall ..."

"Wonderful stay with the family, our dog was welcome and it was a perfect location for us exploring the Northumberland coast. Local pubs and restaurants had great food and everyone was really friendly.The harbour is stunning especially at sunset.Accommodation was clean and perfect for us as a family. ..."
