The location was great, so much room, decorations are off the chart, stocked to the hilt and the outdoor area could not have been any better. “This is a nice little place in a quiet area of Dixon, easy to get to off of the main route. It was a great central location for us to stay while we visited family in the area.The two rooms downstairs worked out well for two of the guests that couldn't do stairs well and my son and I shared a room upstairs.Brought back many memories of going to my grandparents' farm. The old wood doors and floors just made it feel and smell the same as my childhood. Even saw some wildlife during our stay and……

“The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. A couple critiques: consider putting curtains on the windows (especially the bedrooms.) There is central AC, but the bedrooms……

“Great house for a nice getaway. Plenty to do onsite to keep you occupied. Fantastic outdoor patio area with woods behind the house. 2-person jacuzzi tub was fantastic too. Beds were comfortable, and house was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. Plenty of seasoned firewood for inddor and outdoor use.Had a very minor hiccup with check-in, which was not the owners fault. Even so, he went over and above to make things right, and has been very accommodating and responsive throughout our……

“The owners of this property have obviously gone above and beyond most other rentals I have stayed at over the years. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly imagine needing and more! Spent hours sitting, relaxing and watching the river. Stairs going down to the river appear new and are well lit. Unfortunately it rained several time during my stay but could still enjoy the outdoors via the covered front porch. Incredibly comfortable furniture, bed and the whole house felt……
