“Great little independent hotel. I see some other reviews have spoken about the nearby train going by and the thin walls. The train is definitely close, but once I was asleep, I never heard it again. And I never did hear any of my neighbors either, so I guess your mileage may vary. All in all, a surprisingly spacious room, very clean, with a clean bathroom. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful with a great attitude. No complaints, no notes.”

“We thought the property was really cute and it had a back door with a porch and was dog friendly however we had booked for 2 nights and the 1st night when we got to the property the dead bolt lock had broke so we didn't have a lock on the front door. The maintenance guy was there and said your just going to have to go around to the back of the building to get in your room not convenient but okay then we noticed the AC wasn't working so we told the front desk lady and they said it just takes time……

“Self service little place. Rooms are small but very clean and comfy. Nice coffee and supplies and ice. This will be our future place to stay in Escalante. Really a cute quite small place w a comfy bed great towels and shower and quiet…. Go out at night around back and gaze skyward ”

“Super classic mountain lodge in a fast growing g resort town. Convenient to everything and has an amazingly warm lodge vibe with fireplace and a made to order breakfast. We went in the off season and it was a great base to walk around the incredibly gorgeous high mountain village. Will return with the snow :)”
