“This was a wonderful cabin - in a beautiful, peaceful location, and had just the right amount of space and coziness for our family! Jessica checked in the first night we were there to make sure everything was good, and then was quick to respond when we had a question. You can buy firewood on site, which was very convenient for our nightly fires. Just a couple minutes to Ricketts Glen State Park, where we enjoyed several great hikes. Also enjoyed ice cream from Red Rock Scoop just down the road,...

“Everything was perfect! Very helpful and great recommendations about the area. We drove 7 hours for this trip and the hot tub was so wonderful. Kitchen and bathrooms very clean and bed was so comfortable. Thank you for hosting us. We appreciate you!”

“Our weekend stay was lovely. The cabin is so cozy and has everything we need. A perfect place for a relaxing weekend retreat. ”

“We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

“Beautiful, well maintained cabin inside and out. Private location beside a creek, surrounded by woods yet very close to everything you need. Will hopefully rent it again. ”

“Great secluded cabin. Used this as base for an extended weekend of hiking and relaxing. Rocking chairs on the porch during the day and a swing in front of the fire pit at night. Grilled dinner a few nights and ate on the porch. Great location in the middle of the woods. No sound of traffic from this place. Lots of birds but no wildlife this trip. Thanks for the stay.”

“This cabin is amazing! Oh how I'd love to own a place like this. Secluded but close to city and a state park! Loved tne layout, had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze and the owner was especially attentive. Wifi is very slow however but with how private it is its no wonder. Loved the firepit out back although the pond was a haven for mosquitoes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely rent again!”

“The listing pictures tell the story. The home is clean and comfortable, decorated and furnished in a fun way, and provides all you need for a relaxing riverside retreat or an adventurous vacation. This property also serves as a convenient hideaway for Bucknell University events. Of all the rental properties we've stayed at over the years, this was one of our favorites. Easy self check-in and great communication from the host. ”

“We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy.”
