We would love to have you and will do our best to give you a great vacation. This cabin is located 17 miles north west of the town of Wellsboro, home of the PA Grand Canyon. Wild Asaph Cabin is great for the larger groups with the 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but we certainly invite just the two of you or smaller groups. This cabin has a fantastic spacious kitchen with all you need for cooking and eating in. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Smart TV with roku. Wifi. Wood stove. You will also enjoy the feel of home as you settle down to watch your favorite shows on DISH TV, this is also a smart TV.. We offer internet and wifi service. As bedtime draws near you will retire in Queen size beds in all 3 of the downstair bedrooms. Upstairs offers 2 Bedrooms 1 bath. Bedroom # 1 has 2 twins. Bedroom # 2 upstairs has 3 twins and a queen. Wild Asaph cabin has a total of 5 bedrooms, (3 on the main floor) and 2 full baths. You provide your own linens and towels. We provide hand towels and dish towels, blankets and pillows. This cabin is large enough for a family reunion or larger groups but yet still cozy enough for just the two of you, we certainly invite the smaller groups. So Invite friends and / or family to share in your vacation and at the same time share the expense! One of the many great things about this cabin and property are the two huge yards our front and especially in the back. Bring your volleyball net , badmitten set or whatever outdoor games you have. We also have a firepit and picnic table outside. The yards are open so you can star gaze as well. It really is a fantastic property. If you want to set up a tent you may on the side yard. We appreciate your respect for our cabins. Leave the cabin as you found it. We try very hard to keep things clean and updated for our guests. We have a cleaning person come and clean everything after each guest leaves. You will have to supply your own wood for the outdoor campfires.. We can not keep up with the supply for everyone. We have someone that will deliver all the wood right to the cabin for you. The name of the contact person will be on the information email that I send you.
Wild Asaph Cabin is located on Asaph Mt. in the PA Wilds in North Central PA, Tioga county. It is next to state game lands.. Great place to come and hunt. It is close to all the PA Grand Canyon, and Wellsboro attractions, a great location for many of the local festivals, such as the Dickens Christmas, The Laurel Festival, Road Rally, Lumberjack Festival and Maple Sugar Festival. Most famous is Pine Creek, the Rail trails and all the activities it provides. This is the perfect location for the outdoor person. Check out our web page for more info on both rentals. . Quiet/Cozy Cabin
Had a bachelor party over the weekend with the fellas and we enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room for big families or get together and plenty of beds to sleep in. The owners were great with communication and helping us with any questions we had. Appreciate the weekend there and would definitely recommend.

This place is fantastic! Clean, not far from wellsboro, plenty of rooms. There is plenty of room to spread out so we weren't on top of each other. Already booked another weekend here.

Truly one of the most beautiful parts of Pennsylvania
We gathered our entire family to enjoy the area around the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. We all enjoy the outdoors and this cabin fit the bill. It is very secluded which allowed us to enjoy the night sky without the city lights. Out back there is a fire ring well stocked with wood for a night time campfire. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We cooked all our meals at the cabin. There is a TV but we never turned it on. With so much beauty outside who would? The owner is very accessible and she texted us after our arrival to see if we had any questions and texted afterwards making sure we had a good experience. The only thing we would do differently would be to spend more time planning our activities. The roads are dirt roads and what looks close on a map may take 45 minutes to get there. So I would suggest printing out maps of the area before you go and figure about 10 mph on the dirt roads. The bike trail through the canyon is beautiful and worth the drive to get there. If you plan to do some hiking, there are loads of trails close to the cabin that are just as nice as the ones you'll find in the state park. I would highly recommend staying here. I think you will have a very pleasant stay.

Too much hassle and too many rules and insults
Having to take sheets, towels, washcloths, etc was a pain. What was worse was that we had to take toilet paper and paper towels. What kind of place makes you take toilet paper? The showers are very very small. You will bump into a wall no matter where you turn. You have to take your own supply of firewood which is fine. But being accused of using the property manager’s firewood that is there in the middle of the stay was insulting. The good thing about this place was it is out in the middle of nowhere so quiet and peaceful! However, I would not stay there again.

Perfect Getaway
The cabin was perfect for our mini vacation! We had plenty of room for our family and the younger kids loved catching salamanders, frogs & fire flies around the property. Will definitely be coming back again!
