"Beautiful place to stay for those looking for an authentic experience in Koyasan. Staff were excellent and came to our room to guide us to our meals and morning prayers. They also set up our futons during dinner so that when we returned to our room from dinner it was ready for us to sleep. The place also smelt amazing and they even sold a room mist with their signature smell."

The grounds are cared for, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice and comfortable. "Beautiful location, amazing hotel - the rooms were clean, well appointed - live the bathrooms setup - bed super comfortable. We ordered breakfast for the second night - yummy Japanese meal set. This was our favorite hotel in our stay, well appointed hope to return. You need a car because it is remote from public transport, plenty of free parking at the same level as hotel. The staff was wonderful! This place is well worth a journey!"
