“We had a good time in Sa House. Sa and his family are all friendly and enthusiastic. Rooms are all clean, and foods are also good here. Next time if we come back Bac Ha, we will stay Sa House again. ”

“Outside appearances can be deceptive, The Ngan Nga Bac Ha Hotel is welcoming and friendly. There is no lift, but staff carry your heavy luggage and walking a couple of flights of stairs is good for your health. Take time to sit outside and have a drink and watch the beauty of Vietnam unfold before you, chat to the friendly staff, they may struggle with some English, but super nice people. The manager is very helpful, assisting with problems that are not hotel related. Food was excellent.”

“We booked this hotel to have a nap in before our train departed but it turned out to be quite nice for the price. It is the cheapest hotel I've ever booked but certainly not the worst. We would have happily stayed a night if not for time constraints. The room did smell a little bit like cigarettes and the bed was Vietnamese (so hard by western standard), but again for the price we were happy with it.”

“At check in, they kept insisting we have not paid for our room!, we had to show her our cc statement that it’s paid for. They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building. At checkout, we were asked to pay for our room again! On our insistence, they let us go, as I said’ we paid for our room when we booked! Nice hotel, but the insisting that we have not……

“The room was nice. It did smell of smoke though. Hotel name was actually in Vietnamese and not “White Lotus” so it was a little difficult to find”

“Great stay at great hotel. Nothing to complain about. Room was quiet and clean, soft bed, all electronics were working. The location is not central but we wanted a quiet street and this is what we got. Secured parking for our bikes. Best chicken pho I had in Vietnam in 3 weeks was at their breakfast. Good job!”
