“Second time staying here, no complaints. Allowed to park boats in grass next to the side of the house. Works great for fishing tournaments on pool 19. ”

“This was hands down our family's favorite stay of our trip (5 or 6 different places). Plenty of sleeping space for the 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Kitchen was nice, though we didn't use it for much. Air conditioning worked great and main bed was nice. Couch beds were nice enough for the kids to not complain. Location was great for visiting nauvoo and being closer to groceries and such in Keokuk. Really nice stay overall!”

“Beautiful home with an amazing view of the Mississippi River. So peaceful to sit and watch the water, boats, birds, etc. Lots to do in the area, places to eat, etc. Will definitely keep in mind again for a peaceful weekend getaway.”

“We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.”

“We loved the Nauvoo Windmill Farmhouse!! We arrived late at night and got in with the code. It was clean, roomy and close to Nauvoo. We didn't worry about the kids being noisy as we played games and had fun together as there were no other houses around...just fields. We ordered food from Walmart and they delivered to our door. We will definitely stay there again!! ”
