This area is the focal point for visitors, offering direct access to the beach and a selection of local eateries. The Malecón itself is a pleasant walkway, great for evening strolls and enjoying ocean views. Most accommodations here are just steps from the sand.

For couples seeking a relaxed and convenient beach experience, staying along the Malecón is ideal. You'll find yourself close to everything, from casual dining spots to sunset viewing points, making for a stress-free stay.

Travelers looking for a quiet retreat will appreciate the options slightly set back from the main Malecón.

The best time to go to Negritos is during the dry season, which runs from May to December.

During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny skies and warm temperatures, ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. The ocean is generally calm, making it great for swimming, surfing, and boat excursions. This period avoids the heavier rainfall and higher humidity of the wet season.

For travelers seeking a relaxed beach vacation without the concern of rain, this dry period offers the most reliable weather.
