“As a stop on a father son Camiño Ingles, I was concerned about the location as it would require a taxi to go there and back. I didn’t need to worry. The taxi ride from Cafe Avelina was easy and the location was heavenly. The feel of the building, the family-like friendliness of the staff, and the excellent food. I have not even talking about the view overlooking a forest down onto a stream. This is where you want to stay. Highly recommended!!! This was exceptional!”

The pick up from the bar on the camino worked perfectly and the drop off was equally easy. The place is beautiful and the staff work really hard. “Our stay at Casa Lourido was amazing. Mercè was so welcoming and accommodating. The room and bathroom were super clean. Even in the heatwave, we slept well at night with the window open. The gardens around the indoor yard are gorgeous and there is plenty of seating to enjoy the nature. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The area around the property was calm, beautiful and fun to explore and getting to A Coruña is an easy drive. We would stay here again anyday! Gracias por todo! ”

“Our fault was booking in Oct 2024 for a May 2025 camino and expecting a room near the camino from Arzua. Booking early is very impt. Otherwise, this loc is near the camino when leaving O Pino.”

“Bizarrely my bathroom toilet had a bidet in the way of the toilet, so you couldn’t sit straight, also there was a pillar at the end of the bed, so it was very difficult to walk around the twin bed. Rather bizarre design errors. Otherwise not bad”
