We were placed in a room right above the ballroom on the fourth floor, which had an event on Saturday night. We were not warned of the event or that there might me a noise issue. Despite advertising quiet hours after 10:00 pm, we heard loud music until midnight that kept us up. We weren’t able to sleep and got little sleep our first nights stay. It was quite disappointing that they would book us in a room that clearly is not insulated from events that are occurring in the ballroom. For one night of our stay, it was not worth the price. We also tried to make reservations through the concierge desk for Limewood and talked to a gentleman that took down our information. When we arrived at limewood, they did not have our reservation. We received massages at the spa the next day and we had amazing encounters for the spa. We both enjoyed our massages and the experience overall.

This will certainly be a regular stop for us on future Napa getaways. There are quite a few (reasonably priced) wines on offer, with our favorite being the Cabernet Franc and Dry Riesling.

Also, just a note that the tastings now take place in a large (but comfortable) party tent, erected after the August earthquake severely damaged the historic Eshcol Winery building
