The restaurant was closing, but I spoke to the girl on reception who persuaded the chef to allow us to eat in the restaurant. The meal was excellent. Breakfast was good, basic and suited the old-fashioned ambiance of the hotel."

"Great place to stay. Fairly central location, and having a restaurant downstairs was helpful if you're getting into town late. The room was a decent size, an elevator big enough for 2 with luggage (which is not always guaranteed in older cities) and a helpful staff. Biggest gripe was not having a second trash can in the room besides the tiny one in the bathroom... which is about as minor a complaint as you can have, really. Definitely pleased with our stay."
