Stay on Kentucky Lake at this First Floor Condo

Spectacular lakefront Condo with private dock!
This first floor condo is the perfect retreat. The condo has 3 large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. An open kitchen, dining, relaxing space with a pool table, and a den with wood fireplace.

During your stay, enjoy your huge patio space, the dock and the private boat ramp. Swimming and kayaking is amazing from the dock in this sheltered cove at the mouth of Big Cambridge Bay overlooking the main channel of Kentucky Lake. The condo is situated on the first floor of a two story home. My family reserves the upstairs for our personal use.

Enjoy your morning cup of coffee in the fully equipped kitchen while watching the sunrise over Kentucky Lake. Challenge your friends and family to a game of pool and serve snacks and drinks at the large island with seating for four. After a fun day on the lake, throw your towels in the washer and kick back on the two full size sofas in the den to catch-up on Netflix. Then retire to one of the three large bedrooms, each with a queen bed and private lavatory.

I truly hope you enjoy your time at Kentucky Lake and look forward to doing anything I can to make that more memorable.

Condo on the Lake
We enjoyed getting together somewhere in the middle for our families. This place was spacious enough so we didn't feel crowded. The pool table was a definite bonus as it rained about every day. We loved fishing off the dock and caught a variety of fish and a few unwanted turtles:) Overall, this property was not worth what we paid in that there were so many cleanliness issues and things that we felt were overlooked or not provided upon the arrival of guests for a week. Disappointed after driving 9 hours to get there but again loved our visit with family.

Lake house getaway
This was really a wonderful space right on lake Kentucky for our family of 4 to stay in for a weekend. There was a pool table, 4 kayaks, and a small dock. Also Paducah is not far. As a result there was plenty to do! Highly recommend.

It's ok, but....
This is a walk-out basement. The row of windows pictured are all that are present. Two of the bedrooms are basically underground. The two half-baths are literally in closets. If you know what you are walking into it's a pleasant enough space, but highly unusual and can't possibly be up to code.

Great Get A Way
Great Host. The private dock on this lake front property was a great added benefit. Plenty of parking for vehicles/boat trailer. Everything was clean and spacious. The only negative is that I was unable to get the TV in my bedroom to function (and it was probably just me). But then it is a moot point because once I hit the bed I was out like a light.

The property owner and family were super helpful and friendly. The property was perfect for our dual family of 8. We loved the large kitchen to have even more family members at the lake over to celebrate 4th of July. We enjoyed the kayak adventures on the lake and our 4 day/night stay. We will be back for sure! This stay was perfect for us to meet up with family. I can see that in warmer weather, this would be a fun time. There's a dock and boat slip. Both have swimming ladders. We did make great use of the pool table.

Beautiful views and amazing condo
This place was more than what was expected. Condo had plenty of room for the five people plus animals we had staying there. Kimberly, the host, was very nice and accommodating. The condo had everything that was needed and more and was clean. We enjoyed using the pool table and the views from the porch was amazing. Can't wait to return for a longer stay when the weather is warmer.

Kimberley was a great host. We stayed as a much needed getaway. It was very obvious that Kimberley real cared about the property, keeping it clean, and our stay being nothing shy of amazing. The location could not have been better between the lakefront and wooded setting. The lake was lowered to winter pool but we cannot wait to visit when it is closer to summer pool. I am confident that it will offer everything from recreation, sportsmen and just pure leisure. With it just being minutes away from Moors Marina and the Kentucky Lake Dam, we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this as a location for your next Kentucky Lake getaway. Thank you Kimberley for letting us borrow your property.

This property is great for a lake getaway the access to Kentucky lake and the feeling of being tucked away makes this location perfect. The owners who live on the top part of the split home were great to work with, responsive and very respectful of our privacy. We were able to bring our dogs which made for a very memorable family vacation.

Lakefront Treasure
The property is just as described and pictured. The kitchen is well equipped, actually has sharp knives (unlike most rentals), and has a very large island. There were plenty of bathroom towels, the water pressure in the shower is fantastic, the entire place is clean. We appreciated the extra pillows, throw blankets, and comfy sofas for family movie night using the Smart tv with our own Netflix account. We also got good enjoyment out of the pool table. The owners were so kind to help us out when we realized we failed to pack a lighter for the charcoal grill. Very friendly when contact is initiated, but very respectful of our privacy as well. The small cove that the lake frontage is on is tucked back just enough to safely swim or float right from the dock while still being able to view some boat and barge traffic. We appreciated the swim ladder on the dock! We didn't fish but it seemed like fishing from the dock would also be a fun option. It's possible to purchase a fishing license online. The location is convenient to a small market and Dollar General, as well as marinas for boat rentals. It's only about 15 minutes away from restaurants. We had a rainy weekend, otherwise we would have gone mini-golfing or hiking in the area. I only have 4 suggestions for future improvements: 1. The kitchen table appears to be expandable. If so, please have additional table height chairs available so more than three people can play cards or board games. We ended up bringing in a patio chair. The island isn't very conducive for that and it was raining so we couldn't play on the patio. 2. Longer range: Add a roof/ceiling to the patio so that the rain from the upper deck doesn't come through and the patio can be utilized even if it's raining. Having that space screened in would be icing on the cake to keep the bugs and toads away at night for hanging out after dark. 3. It would be nice to have a foam mattress topper available for use in the vinyl album room. The mattress is firm and my daughters said they could feel the springs. It's impossible to please everyone but an optional topper would be a nice compromise. (We slept great in the master bedroom and our son didn't have any complaints about the other bedroom.) 4. For families, it would be nice if one of the bedrooms featured twin beds or twin over full bunk bed. This rental met all of our needs and we are very thankful to Kimberley for offering this space without requiring a full week reservation.
