“Firstly we were upgraded which was appreciated , but unfortunately the heat pump didn’t work and it was freezing , eventually a heater was found ,but then the shower drain was blocked and the bathroom flooded into the bedroom , however staff were super quick to come and unblock the drain and mop up the mess.”

“This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!”

“Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in”

“The room we stayed in (#3) was featured on their Expedia page and on their website and looked very good as far as motels are concerned, but we're pretty sure the photo was taken many, many years ago because everything in the room was just old and worn. The sheets and blankets were stained, and my husband was dubious as to whether they were even cleaned, so we ended up sleeping fully clothed. We didn't sit on the sofa because it was stained.
