"Villa Appiani is at a great location to get to center of Florence without being right in the center of it. It's a quite location where you can relax after a day of sightseeing and they have a great resturant. Also they provide shuttle service to the entrance of Florence at no extra cost. It's a bit of a walk but worth it. They have two drop off locations close to Florence or midway at another popular sightseeing stop. Special mention to reception, breakfast and room cleaning staff and in particular to Deshan who gave us a lot of help and advice re venues for restaurants, shopping and train services for travel to Verona.
