Loved this hotel. We stayed in one of the self catering lodges which was great. Lodge was spacious and had everythigg no we needed travelling with young children. We used the hotel swimming pool and explored the grounds.
Great location, easy to park and charge EV and in an excellent location for what we wanted.
Staff helped with any query we had. The only thing I’d love to see was a few more condements in the lodge, what would be available if we stayed in the hotel.
Will definitely stay again
Everything was fantastic! From easy of checking in with incredible staff, our room was gorgeous and had all the amenities you could need. We dined in the restaurant which was great and used the swimming pool. Everything was super clean and every member of staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.. highly recommend!!
Spotless room, friendly staff, breakfast poor if arriving at 9-20 after a swim. Need an app on mobile to enter swimming pool, should be a simple swipe card.
Great stay. Beautiful location. Would definitely go back as didn’t get to use the spa etc. Breakfast was nice, but a bit expensive. Room was lovely, lack of plug sockets by the bed. Staff were very helpful.

We stayed here for two nights in February as part of a mini break to see old friends and visit the Eden Project for the first time. We arrived early intending to have lunch whilst waiting for our keys but to our delight the room was ready early. We had a light lunch in the restaurant with our friends which was of a good standard.
We had requested a wheelchair accessible room as my wife is disabled and we were very impressed with the large size and quality of the room and the facilities within, especially the bathroom. We can honestly say it is the best disabled friendly hotel room we have ever stayed in. The only slight drawback was that it could only be accessed by wheelchair via a dimly lit external path as there is no lift from the reception area to the lower floors but we were happy to put up with this considering the lovely nature of the room, which had an estuary facing patio area. We understand that consideration is being given to converting a room on the ground floor close to the bar.
All members of staff that we interacted in were extremely helpful and courteous and I made good use of the pool, sauna and steam room on both days.
All in all, we had a most enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
This is a lovely hotel, and I received a lovely friendly welcome from the night porter when I arrived. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated the EV charger access too. I've rated it 4* rather than 5 as while the room and hotel was clean, the decor looked tired. Plus the absence of a lift, and all the stairs to the second floor was a challenge with luggage.
We enjoyed our stay, the grounds are beautiful and rooms very comfortable. The staff were a bit disinterested and lacked costumer service attention. We made use of the pool which was nice but having to book to use it was unusual.

Abi & Ashe we’re outstanding in the level of service that they provided on a personal level
A very warm and welcoming Hotel. On arrival, the lovely receptionist 'Great welcoming smile!!' to a very cheerful and polite head restaurant waiter. The food was excellent and my room was 100% I will certainly be staying here again for my business trips.
The cottage was huge and extremely well-equipped, making it a perfect stay for families. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The spa requires advance booking, and guests can stay for only one hour, but it was a great experience nonetheless. Everything was absolutely perfect during our stay!
Absolutely adored it all. Beautiful grounds with many birds singing in the woods. Lovely view. Nice touches for the dog. Room and bed very comfortable.Enjoyed our meals too. Staff very friendly and helpful

Property amazing grounds amazing, check-in quite vague, food ok but for price would expect more,
Football pitch very nice the ball my child was given to play with was a sponge ball which had been half eaten so bring your own.
I liked the swimming pool. It was very busy though from 8-9. Almost couldn't swim up and down. Maybe open at 7 - 8. Our room didn't have two chairs although there were 2 of us. Only one at the dressing table so had to sit on bed.
In the bar the tv was loud on Eastenders. Very off putting if you want to go in there for a drink. I can understand putting it on for events such as the tennis, golf or football but for not for normal tv. People have tvs in their rooms if they want to watch tv.
The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! The grounds were lovely with a little woodland walk to take the pup around, and lots of nearby beautiful coastal walks. Being able to see the sea at breakfast was lovely.
