Unfortunately, this year we were disappointed. Our keys would open the room, but wouldn’t work on the exterior doors forcing us to enter through the office door. This made it difficult to haul our luggage and other items from our vehicles to the room. On three of the four days we stayed, the exterior doors wouldn’t open. For $157 per night, we expected better conditions. We may have to look into other options the next time we travel to Umatilla. However, beds and facilities were good and the bathroom matched places we stayed at 2x the cost. Also the $10 pet fee was the best of our trip from Texas. Breakfast was nothing more than pastries and juice. Woke up to the neighbor loudly talking early morning after being up all night at Rock the Locks. The room was pretty warm even with the AC on. The staff were nice. The only thing is there was no breakfast out. Check in was easy. Easy parking. Probably could do a little better on their Continental breakfast. Yogurt and sugary snacks. Some small cosmetic repairs needed in bathroom. Very clean and wonderful staff.
