Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden. Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales. "

The only slight negative was that the beds were very soft, but that's just personal preference. Whitbarrow village itself was very well maintained with a lovely bar/restaurant area. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I stayed at Roundthorn Country House and Luxury Apartments on 27th July, and we had a wonderful stay. We were delighted to be upgraded to one of the apartments, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both had a fantastic night's sleep. After a long drive, we really appreciated being able to check into our room early. It was a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference and got our stay off to a perfect start. We also enjoyed a delicious evening meal, and breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and excellent. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roundthorn Country House and Luxury Apartments to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay."
